The 9^th Annual San Mateo County Women’s Art Show,

Sponsored by the San Mateo County Arts Commission and the Commission on the Status of Women in recognition of March being designated as Women’s History Month.

March 11 - May 2, 2013

Reception With Artists and Awards Presentation:

Friday, March 15, 3 - 5 p.m. in the Caldwell Gallery

Approximately 30 women artists are showing a variety of artwork of all mediums.

 Congratulations to the following award winners

chosen by juror, James Gleason, Instructor, Academy of Art College in San Francisco:

Helga Christoph, Linda Dulaney, Berni Jahnke, Yvonne Newhouse, LeVey Norquist and Judy Quitoriano. 

The Caldwell and Community Galleries are located at the Hall of Justice, 400 County Center, in Redwood City.  Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

James Gleason, juror, loved your work.  I’m pleased to let you know that your beautiful drawing “Meave” was his first choice for one of the three awards.  He said this about the piece:  “Beautiful line work as well as structure and proportion of the head drawing.”  If he could have given more than one award per artist, he would’ve given “Anna” an Honorable Mention, as well.  Congratulations, Linda!
